Flow x Zulu

Flow x Zulu

Met through a mutual friend in 2020 and their work journey started since then.

The ongoing line of collaboration between the two local brands Flow and Zulu has been a success and an undeniable part of the brands identity.

Inspired from nature and made by the hands of Egyptian artisans, the three collections of Lighting units "Japandi",”Lumina" and “Maïsha” were born. The two designers combined several materials in one product and yet giving it a minimal look. The collections were produced between Cairo and Alexandria with the know-how of more than 10 Egyptian artisans.

About the Designers:

Salma Abdallah: Graduated from Faculty of Fine Arts Décor Department, Alexandria University. She started Flow Creations in 2018 after finishing her MA in England and working in both the Interior Design and Digital Marketing field. She started her own business by designing Home accessories and executing her designs by the hands of Egyptian Artisans.

Sara Nader: worked in the field of interior design, and started  "Zulu” in 2018 featuring designs made of Bamboo and wood, after another small project related to environment and artistic upcycling. Lulu Zulu is inspired by the African Style and its spirit.

And now both brands are currently working on expanding there scope of work and products together.
